Kanye West was last night’s musical guest on the season premiere of Saturday Night Live, and made sure to kick things off with a bang. Watch Kanye West’s wild Saturday Night Live performance below, featuring Lil Pump, Teyana Taylor, Kid Cudi, 070 Shake, and Ty Dolla $ign.
While his next album Yandhi still hasn’t officially dropped yet, West made sure to keep people entertained with this performance. He performed three songs in total, the first being his latest track ‘I Love It‘ with Lil Pump, Adele Givens providing the visual backdrop. Instead of dressing up in giant suits again, the two opted for something just as weird: two giant bottles of sparkling water. The heavily censored performance led to even more funny visuals.
Kanye returned with another performance, this time with Teyana Taylor. They performed a song from her West-produced project KTSE, ‘We Got Love,’ this time opting for a much simpler performance without all of the costumes and visuals.
Kanye performed one final song during the show’s closing credits: ‘Ghost Town‘ from his own album ye. Kid Cudi, 070 Shake, and Ty Dolla $ign all performed the track with him, before he delivered a pro-Trump speech that was met with boos from the crowd. It may not have been well received, but you can’t deny that Kanye knows how to get a reaction.
