Kendrick Lamar's New Album Is Dropping Next Week

After a whole slew of hype leading up to April 7, the big news from Kendrick Lamar is here. Kendrick will be dropping his new album next week, April 14!

This pre-order from iTunes has just gone live, revealing the release date to be next week. Nothing much else is revealed, beside the fact that single 'HUMBLE.' will be the eighth track and the record will contain fourteen tracks. The album art is all black with a parental advisory stamp, but it is unknown if that is actually the final artwork. The title is also unknown.

Fans have been anxiously waiting for April 7 after Kendrick Lamar dropped 'The Heart Pt. 4' (which does not appear on the new album, from the looks of things). The last lines of the final verse spit "You know what time it is, ante up, this is in forever / Y'all got 'til April the 7th to get y'all shit together," the initial tease of the date. Other lines in the song reference his new material: "I said it's like that, dropped one classic, came right back / 'Nother classic, right back / My next album, the whole industry on a ice pack / With TOC, you see the flames / In my E-Y-E's; it's not a game."

Hip-hop heads, get ready. K-Dot is back with a vengeance. We'll have a review ready for the record when it drops, so be sure to check back here when the new music is out!
