Is Kendrick Lamar's & J. Cole's Collaborative Album "Out The Sky" Dropping Soon?

Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole are undoubtedly two of hip-hop’s leading forces, and their upcoming collaboration album is shaping up to be one of the genre’s most anticipated releases. Both artists have prepared new albums on their own though, and it seems that the record keeps getting pushed back, but perhaps its coming sooner than we think. Is Kendrick Lamar’s & J. Cole’s collaborative album Out The Sky dropping soon, or will we have to keep the wait up?

In an unfortunate series of events, we may have gotten the answer. Rap duo EarthGang have apparently seen the record on J. Cole’s laptop, and subsequently took to his Twitter to post a link to their new song ‘Up.’ It’s entirely possible that this was just a promotional stunt, but all the same, the record could be coming soon.

Out The Sky has been in the works since 2013, when both Kendrick and J. Cole were upcoming artists. If it dropped today, it would send waves throughout all of music. Are you excited for the new record? Stay tuned, hopefully it’ll be released soon and our review of it will follow shortly after! Kendrick and J. Cole are both expected to drop albums of their own soon as well, so be sure to be on the look out for those.
